Partner is a very gritty cattle dog, he always comes back for more no matter how tough things get. He heads and heels and will work until the job is done. Partner has won cattle dog trials and placed well in many others. He is has titles in Cattle, Sheep, and Ranch Trial Dog. He has natural genetic balance, eye, and never leaves behind any stock. You don't need to guide his every move, he will fetch anything anywhere.
He is not dog agressive. He is very friendly with people and kids. He is not a barker while in the kennel or when working. For those of you wanting dogs that bark to help you locate cattle, sorry he is not it. You can put this dog in a down stay and come back even if you forget him and he is still there and happy about it! That amazes me! He has very natural balance and uses medium eye. He is very biddable to train and you won't be begging this dog to come help, he is there and ready to go and he always wants to please you. He also works goats and sheep. Partner weighs 55 lbs and is a large boned deep ribbed Border Collie. He is only registered with the ABCA. Partner is OFA Good and CERF clear in 2004. He also has a DNA record and we have Frozen semen available.
